Chairman of Asia World Group, also President of Myanmar Volleyball Federation, U Htun Myint Naing officiating the opening of the Championship.

Held in the capital Nay Pyi Taw, over a period of nine days from Mar 28th to April 5th 2017, the Championship comprised a total of twelve (12) teams from countries spanning South East, North & Central Asia.

The Championship not only allowed for Asia’s boys volleyball elite to show off their skills on the court but also served as an important qualification tournament for the 2017 World Men’s U19 Volleyball Championship.

Serving as an ideal platform to promote and encourage cultural exchanges among the athletes, this annually held Championship creates opportunities to foster the development of youth volleyball in Asia and provides access for Myanmar’s younger generation to gain exposure and valuable tournament experience.
