Asia World Foundation is proud to support the SMM 3rd Asian “Asia World Foundation” Men’s U23 Volleyball Championship

Yangon – 26 March 2019 – In line with our corporate mission of supporting and bringing local communities together, Asia World Foundation – the charitable arm of Asia World Group of Companies together with our subsidiaries Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL), Pioneer Aerodrome Services (PAS), Global World Insurance (GWI), Horizon Lake View Resort and Myat Taw Win Hotel – is proud to be the main sponsor for the SMM 3rd Asian “Asia World Foundation” Men’s U23 Volleyball Championship.

Organized by the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Myanmar Volleyball Federation, the tournament will be held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar from 3rd August to 11th August 2019 at the Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium. This year, total of 16 teams from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, Japan, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, (East), (West) and (Central) Zones will participate in the championship.

The group stage draws for the SMM 3rd Asian “Asia World Foundation” Men’s U23 Volleyball Championship was held at Yangon International Airport Terminal 3 corporate event hall on 26th March 2019 and Myanmar, the host of the tournament will play with Sri Lanka, Australia and EZ (HKG, MAC) in Group A according to the draw results. Japan, Kazakhstan, WZ-2 (BRN, KSA, PLE, QAT, KUW, IRQ, UAE) and Vietnam Teams in Group B, Chinese Taipei, Pakistan, WZ-3 (BRN, KSA, PLE, QAT, KUW, IRQ, UAE) and WZ-1 (BRN, KSA, PLE, QAT, KUW, IRQ, UAE) Teams in Group C and Thailand, China, CZ (IND, TKM) and New Zealand Teams are in Group D respectively.
