Asia World Concludes Group Bi Annual General Meeting 2019

Everyone’s spirits were lifted and teamwork was strengthened during the bi-annual general meeting (“AGM”) of Asia World Group of Companies (“AWC”), Myanmar’s partner in nation-building, held last 28 and 29 July 2019 at Horizon Lake View Resort in Nay Pyi Taw.

The seventh AGM gathered around 250 business unit leaders, senior management and young talent for two days to boost the company’s teamwork, increase morale and inform everyone on the latest milestones and achievements by AWC’s subsidiaries. Participants enjoyed team-building activities organized by the Corporate Communications Department.

“This AGM has demonstrated the inclusive and cooperative culture that we want to encourage within AWC. Aside from the updates from subsidiaries, the team-building activities have developed stronger ties and better relationships among AWC’s personnel. Beyond the AGM, we should continue to build on this to get us through the challenges that we may face,” said U Htun Myint Naing, Chairman of AWC.
